Thomas Lecakis is an expert in patient care. He has dedicated more than three decades to enhancing his skill set within the field, so that he can constantly and proficiently aid in the facilitation of patient recovery. Mr. Lecakis is an accredited professional whose background allows him to shine within his capacity and educate others in his capacity as a Perianesthesia Nurse Educator. Mr. Lecakis proudly assists and trains nursing staff members, and showcases his expertise in patient care by helping them become the adept and trusted health care professionals that the Penobscot Bay Medical Center is known for.

Mr. Lecakis understands that when you are undergoing a surgical procedure, you want to be in the hands of a reliable and safe facility, and a dependable and principled health care professional. In his role as a staff nurse, Mr. Lecakis serves the post anesthesia care unit’s patients with compassionate care. He knows that you may have questions, and be sensitive during your time of recovery, and will be there for you in your time of need. Mr. Lecakis is a certified perianesthesia nurse with the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, and he received a master’s degree in nursing from Chelsea University in London. In addition, Mr. Lecakis speaks publicly in order to sufficiently aid in the development of leadership functions for patient care and perianesthesia nursing; Mr. Lecakis also serves as a consultant.
